DisplayValet is software you install on your own computer. Your pictures and videos stay on that computer and your network; they are never sent to us. This page explains the little that is.
About once an hour, the app sends a status report so we can help when something goes wrong and know which version you run. It contains:
If you send a problem report, it also includes your message, your email if you give it, recent activity in the app and the end of the app's log (with anything that looks like a code or password removed). You can read all of it before sending.
We never receive your pictures or videos, passwords, or the codes your TVs use to pair with the app.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, billing address and what you bought; your card details go to Stripe, not to us. See stripe.com/privacy.
We send license keys, receipts and replies to support requests by email (through Amazon Web Services). Mail you send to support@displayvalet.com is kept for up to a year.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
On Amazon Web Services in the United States. Status history is kept for about 13 months; licenses, purchases and support requests as long as your account is active and as needed for our records.
Email support@displayvalet.com to see or delete what we hold about your installation. Uninstalling the app stops it from sending anything.
