- What is DisplayValet?
- Software that runs the pictures and videos on a business's TVs from one web page. It installs on one always-on Windows computer and controls Samsung Frame TVs (in Art Mode), other Samsung TVs, LG webOS TVs, Amazon Fire TV devices and any screen with a web browser.
- Do I need a media player for each TV?
- No for Samsung Frame TVs and LG webOS TVs: DisplayValet uses what's built in. TVs that can't be controlled over the network need an Amazon Fire TV stick.
- How much does it cost?
- A one-time price for the app with two displays included, plus a monthly or yearly price for each extra display. Every install starts with a 30-day free trial with everything unlocked. Current prices are on the pricing page.
- Does it need the internet?
- Your TVs and DisplayValet talk over your own network, and your pictures stay on your computer. The app goes online for license checks, updates and support. If the internet goes down, the displays keep running.
- Can several TVs show a coordinated slideshow?
- Yes. TVs side by side form one screen and switch at the same moment: a different picture on each TV, or a scene spread across all of them.
- Does it play video?
- Yes on LG TVs, Fire TV devices and browser displays. Samsung Frames in Art Mode show still pictures.
- Can it turn my TVs on and off?
- Yes, on a weekly schedule per display, and it can turn a TV back on if someone switches it off during business hours.
- What computer does it run on?
- Windows 10, Windows 11 or Windows Server, on a computer that stays on and is on the same network as the TVs. The installer sets everything up.
- Can more than one person manage it?
- Yes. Add users with their own sign-ins: admins manage displays and users, editors manage the pictures and playlists.
- What happens when the trial ends?
- Displays without a license show a picture saying a license is needed. Buy from inside the app and the license is added automatically within minutes.
