People in a waiting room look at the TV, so it's worth showing something useful instead of daytime television. A good waiting-room loop is short, mostly pictures, and changes often enough that regulars don't tune it out.
Ideas that work
- One service per slide, with a single sentence and a photo: what it is and who it's for.
- Before-and-after photos (with permission).
- Seasonal reminders: check-ups, flu shots, back-to-school.
- Your team, with a fun fact each.
- Short reviews from real patients or customers.
- Practical notes: your app or portal, payment options, how to book.
- Calm scenery between messages, so the screen doesn't feel like an ad.
Keep it working
- Ten to fifteen seconds a slide is plenty.
- Schedule seasonal items by date, so they appear and disappear by themselves.
- Turn the TV off after hours automatically.
- If the TV is also used for shows, set it to return to your slideshow afterwards.
