Each Samsung Frame has its own Art Mode slideshow, set up from the phone app one TV at a time. With two or more Frames in the same room, that means each TV changes on its own timer, the same picture can show on two TVs at once, and every update has to be repeated on every TV.
What changes with DisplayValet
- All the Frames are run from one web page on a computer in your building.
- Frames hung side by side become one screen: they switch at the same moment.
- Single pictures are dealt across the Frames, so each shows something different.
- A scene puts a set of pictures up together, one per Frame, for example a photo, a description and a price.
- Add a picture once and every Frame that should show it gets it.
Setting it up
- Install DisplayValet on a Windows computer that stays on, on the same network as the Frames.
- Turn the Frames on and press Find displays. Add each one, and say whether it hangs tall or wide.
- Press Allow on each TV the first time (with its own remote).
- Make a screen with as many places as you have Frames side by side, and put each Frame in its place, left to right.
- Add pictures and scenes to a playlist and press Start.
Tested on the 2023 32-inch Frame (QN32LS03C). The Frames show still pictures in Art Mode; for video on the same wall, add an LG or Fire TV next to them.
